A big lizard looking for food.

I actually took one of this small durian for Ah Su but somehow it got moisture and turn bad. I decided to throw it away. If it didn't turn back, most probably I will give it to her as a suprised gift. Perhaps with a message and tie with a red ribbon. I been thinking about the message for the past few days, and writing some romantic about Durian is not easy.

"Although you are thorny like a Durian, I still find you adorable" or perhaps something lousy like "Smelly for some people but delicacy to some". Okay, luckily the durian turn bad because if I write such stupid romantic message, I might get knock with a durian on the head.

The Joy of Success ...

Thursday, May 17, 2007

This is the only big catch for that day and my friend, Taufik caught it. I was the one who told him that the bell on his fishing rod ring. I think we will be going there again soon. Writing code everyday make me sick and I think I'm going crazy too. So what if you have money, but no joy.

When I was there, I meet one oldman who was also there fishing. He is trying to fish for River Catfish (also known as Baung). The thing about this river catfish is they hang out in group or school. So, it's either you get them or you don't get them at all. It's like casting your line and wait for your destiny or fate. So, while he is waiting (and I'm also waiting), we had a little chat. He told me that the other side of this dam, it's haunted. He told me that there's a little "pontianak" staying there (the other side). He told me not to go to that section and don't even stay there till late at night. He is a little timid, I guess. Compare to the other 2 old man, uncle meng and uncle "massage" .... those 2 are fanatics! At their age, they don't give a shit about ghost or vampire. I was told as long as there's fish, you will see both of them. I remember someone tease him something, and uncle meng just reply "sekarang sudah tua". The other uncle, I don't know why they call him uncle "massage" and I thought he is also a retiree but he is not. They say he cannot retire, and I wonder why. Then they told me that he have four wives and he still need to manage his foundry business. Well, if you want many wives, you can move to the state of Melaka ... LOL.

It seem to be quite common there, in fact, one of our friend stay on top of a hill in Melaka, and further up the hill is a small housing estate and again I was told that a rich man keep his four wives there. Four houses up there in a small gated community. Anyway, joy of success is not about having many wives as trophy. This is not what my post is about. I'm against polygamy.

I found a meaningful quote today ...

"Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great." - Mark Twain

Machap - Fishing Sanctuary

Monday, May 14, 2007

A hidden fishing sanctuary in Melaka.

Baby Toman caught by Uncle XXX.
My friend, Taufik caught this 5-6kg Rohu. No, that's not Taufik, but he is James, the guy who bring us to this place. I just know him that day, he is a portugese, I think. The funny thing is Taufik is a catch and release guy while these fellas see that as dinner!

Puzzle from Toyota

Thursday, May 10, 2007

A 2 piece puzzle from Toyota. I think they are launching a new car, a hybrid car, and recently send out this info pack about hybrid car. We are living in a time where fuel cost is rising, this hybrid car really fit into the missing puzzle of rising cost. My car now is quite good as a full tank of petrol only cost about RM80 or less, and I can travel about 400-500 in the city. Prior to this, I was driving the national car, and it can't even beat my current car in term of fuel economy.

A friend of mine was driving a volvo 4wd and it's really a big fuel drinker. Driving to KL and back, take one tank of petrol and if he use credit card, he can't even fill up the whole tank. But of course, that's a luxury tank car.

Nowaday, I'm into eating porridge. Every morning before the sunrise, I would drive to the city to get a bowl of porridge. This morning, the lady selling the porridge gave me a huge discount. In addition to the porridge, I order 2 add on, and I only pay a portion of the price. In fact, I was so stupid till I ask her again the price, and of course she still charge me the same. I think it must be my charisma, I think I'm getting more charismatic, in a way, becoming a lady killer. Just the other day, another lady called me up after office hour to update me about my order status. She is a really a chilipadi and I have to admit I'm shock she actually called me up to update me. Unfortunately I can't take spicy stuff ... I think it's a torture, same principle apply here :)

So far, I had pork intestine porridge, fish and chicken. The next time, I will be trying out the raw fish! Meatball porridge, I think I will skip, somehow it remind me of the porridge I had in SL's house. Too much ingredients in the bowl. I like simple and plain food. Not complicated and oily stuff.

I received an email recently from someone telling me that "USD5,000" is not making money, and not worth the effort. I'M SPEECHLESS!
That someone can afford to hire another fella and pay that fella RM4k a month doing nothing, and yet can tell me stupid story like this. To me, it's either something is not right or pure greed! I wanted to write that someone an email but decided to calm myself first. Of course, USd5,000 is not a big figure for me, I can easily generate that kind of figure, but the question now is what do I get in return?

I must tell that someone this ...

“I pity the man who wants a coat so cheap that the man or woman who produces the cloth will starve in the process.”

Arr, it's Thursday again, time to go running ...

CaLvIN & cHeryL

Saturday, May 05, 2007

I was photographer for that day. It was their marriage registration. I was suppose to update this section but too much activities in my life recently, and I'm only free now (Due to braindead).

I almost didn't recognise my friend's wife that morning, in fact I'm one of the few lucky guy who get to meet her more often than the other guys. Poor Jeremy, I think only saw her less than 5 times, since Calvin and Cheryl started going out together till the day they got married. That's long time as they both used to know my ex-girlfriend and now my new girlfriend. Not just Jeremy, even the rest of the boys seldom get to meet her. Calvin will give lot of reasons such as his wife is busy, etc. Most probably he need to keep his precious diamond from diamond hunter like Jeremy .... LOL!

I also realise my evil-gf started blogging recently. I think she must be too free as she don't have much life activity like me. She only want to earn tons and tons of money (for God knows what reason). For me, I have tons of activity like clubbing, drinking, smoking weed, SPA, fishing, talk cock with other business associate, drink coffee or tea and of course working. If you ask me whether I'm rich, I will definetely tell you that my life is rich ;)

Sexy Picture?

Monday, April 30, 2007

This blog is turning into a boring place ... maybe because my life is getting bored. So I decided to enlighten it sexy woman, butt, etc. I think it must be the straight hair girl thingy. Sean must be drooling after looking at this mui mui jai. Talking about mui mui jai, I think my stupid naive girlfriend never understand that older guy will always attract younger women, but older women may not attract older man nor younger boy. She need to read about the theory of life else someday she will be super misserable.

Anyway, I plan to read more book in 2007, not hamsap book, mind you.

This is not my idea but Su Ling's idea. Mr Don is turn into Don Junkie or Sakai Don. I'm extremey tired, but I still blog so that it will be more consistent unlike Simon once a month blog posting. I think he is too busy, went to India, etc. Talking about India, I meet 2 Tibetian herbalist or sensei last week. One of them inspect my pulses, and told me that I'm high in uric acid and have too much oil in my gout. Then he propose I eat less fried stuff, and take some herbal medicine. The unknown herbal pill is not cheap, cost almost RM300 plus for 100 days of consumption. My business associate even offer to pay for me, but I didn't want any gratitude from him. You never know what is those pill made off, and I don't simply consume anything I don't know. You can never be too careful, unlike Mr Don.

Okay, time to go sleep. I also have a friend who choose not to sleep. He even told me that although he may live till 70 years old, but because he sleep less than anyone of us, he get to live his life to the fullest. Guess what, he had accident few weeks back, went into ICU, had operation and is now recovering. Accident due to lack of sleep, he bang his brand new car to a tree, and had internal bleeding.

Anyway, apart from drinking liquer and some beer once in a while. I try to eat less, more vege, and if possible, I will eat vegetarian. I eat vege because I promise God I will be good as I always bully Mr Don. Put him on some place high so that he can't jump down, hide his toys, cover up his favorite hidding spot so he can't go sleep or hide there. Run up and down the house, pretending as if I'm going out.

Heart Of Greed

Sunday, April 22, 2007

Currently, I'm watching this drama, Heart of Greed. It's a TVB drama about abalone and dried seafood. It's one long drama, as there's about 40 episode, and I think I watch till episode 10.

Apart from this, I'm also watching the Life Art, another TVB series, but I find that kinda boring, it's about Kevin, an IT guy who live a hectic life (not me, but Kevin Cheng), until he meet this straight hair girl, Gigi. Okay, the only reason I'm still watching it is due to Gigi. I guess I'm a fan of Gigi. In fact, I'm a big fan of some of the Hong Kong actresses such as Gigi, Ada, Yoyo, Tavia, Linda ... don't know why ... somehow I'm still addicted to Gigi. If you talk about nice plot and cast, then Heart of Greed is definetely the one, but that charm of Gigi still capture me.

And ever since I came back from Penang, I finally manage to finish watching Curse of the Golden Flower, and it's not as bad as I thought. I have to admit I watch too much HK flick such as Protege, Curse of the Golden Flower, Confession of Pain and Wise Man Never Die. I might be watching Happy Birthday if I have the time, but the review about it, is not too good. Can you imagine Louis Koo doing a romantic flick? I still remember him as the drug junkie in Protege. Okay, i only watch award winning flick but sometimes I may watch those from Wong Jing such as Wise Guy Never Die.

On a typical Saturday night, I have invitation from friends to go clubbing, then I got friend asking me to go cyber cafe. In the end, I didn't go clubbing or cyber and choose to visit a business associate. I think I'm too old for stuff like clubbing at places like Q bar. When friend tell me about girls they meet there who is around 19 or those college kiddo, I think there's really age gap. I was thinking .. what the heck some old man (not me, but my friends) doing hanging out with some young hippies, and pretending to be young. Okay, that's the clubbing bunch. Then there's another bunch who go cyber cafe. Well, once upon a time, I do go cyber cafe for network game, but again I think I'm too old for it. Somehow it remind me of those overgrown babies playing Magic the gathering or those miniature table gaming, and making those special effect with their mouth. Weird, right?

So you must be asking what people around our age, should do ... what about going to papaya farm or night club? Okay, I'm just kidding, everyone is unique like what Ah Su always tell me. Some people grow up fast, some people are late starter, and some people are destined to do BIG thing in life. So, the question is which type of people are you?

Geee, I talk too much crap, must be the dim sum that I had just now in Petaling Street. I think I better go sleep now else I will start talking more crap. Lot of things for me to do ... later today.

Dog stuck on the cupboard with no where to go ...

Wednesday, April 04, 2007

This is one of the many prank I play on Don. This one is called put him on the cupboard with nowhere to go. He is too afraid to jump down, and he has nowhere to go or hide. Can't wait to see him again, to try this prank on him again.

I been watching alot of movies and series recently, thanks to BT, I managed to download tons of it. Within a week, I managed to watch the most popular TV series, Heroes. Apart from Heroes, I also watch stuff like Lost and Stargate Atlantis. Unfortunately, there's no more new episode till end of this month (at least for Heroes). For movies, I managed to watch stuff like Confession of Pain, Rocky Balboa, The Queen, Letter from Iwo Jima, The Pursuit of Happyness and Devil Wear Prada. Not to mentioned, I also watched Snake on the plane! You must be wondering how I watch so many, well, I did it in a span of many weeks. Of course I can't be watching everything at the same time, when I'm busy watching those TVB series, then I won't be watching any movies or those american tv series. The last TVB stuff I watch was Best Bet. No wonder I don't even watch astro or TV anymore.

Look like the only picture I do post is Su Ling's dog. Now it's Su Ling's dog, and no longer his brother's dog, as that dog is always with her all the time. Perhaps I will be posting picture of monitor lizard next time. I saw a big one the other day when I was going for lunch with Bing. I think there's quite alot of these lizard in Penang. I wonder if Mr Don is afraid of these giant lizard. One thing for sure, Mr Don ain't afraid of all those giant stray dog living near his house.

Chinese New Year!

Sunday, February 18, 2007

This is the time to catch up on TV Series, Movies and anime. Of course this is also the the time to catch up with those missing friends ;)

I just finish watching Robotech, an anime that I have been watching since childhood. This is not the original Robotech but rather than continuation after the Sentinels. It's a movie call Robotech, The Shadows Chronicle.

In fact, nowaday it's more fun watching Heroes, Lost, and tons of TVB series than finding stuff to write. I don't even have time reading books. The stupid brain is becoming an idiot box...

It's time to blog again. Shanghai ... that's Shanghai on your right. If you look at it, it remind me of Simcity. That photo is not taken by me but taken by my friend, Jeremy. Somehow that guy is quite good in taking some good shot. My only shot is Mr Don the Maltese. In fact when I was looking at my photo album, it's all about Mr Don and some of vacation photos. Maybe I should go somewhere this Chinese New Year. Your brain will be dead if you are only in this country. There's things to see here but limited.

Even going out of this country involved making some decision like whether i want to go to a city vacation, beach vacation, island vacation or maybe countryside. City will be place like Bangkok, Macau, Hong Kong or even China, but China, I might be going mid of this year for business. So I think I might skip city. Island vacation can be real boring especially when there's nothing much to do there except sleeping (if you know what I mean). Maybe I will skip island as well. Countryside? Nar, living in Penang is like living in a countryside. The more I think of it, the more I dislike it. Penang is not that bad actually but places like Kedah, Kulim, etc is really not my cup of tea.

In fact, my friend, James wanted to ask me to go Kenyir for fishing, I even pass that. Talking about fishing, the last time I almost ended up eating frog. Luckily I manage to catch one catfish during the last minute. We were using frog as bait, in fact that's the first time I fish using frog. You clip the frog mouth and use the hook to pook the frog ass. Taufik (or Ah Meng) ... whatever his name is ... will even cut off the poor frog leg ... reason ... so that the fish can swallow the bait easier. Somehow the fish didn't eat that (fish might be thinking ... what the heck is this cripple frog doing here .... fishy).

New Year, New Post

Saturday, January 13, 2007

It's already 13 days after new year, and after reading Desmond's blog, I think I should write something. What Desmond did was he wrote about 2006 and did a self reflection for that year. What about me? 2006 was okay for me, actually to most people, I think it's the year of their lifetimes. The problem with me is there's always something missing, maybe I never have enough, or maybe it's greedy, but I assure you it's not. 2007 should be even more exciting, it should be a leap.

I remember once upon a time when some rich people tell me that if you make your first 100k (that was like more than 10 years ago), the next 100k is going to be easy. The rich always pampered themself with expensive stuff such as expensive car, expensive house, expensive gadget, etc. The list is never ending, there's always so much to buy. As for me, I bought a lot of rubbish when I was young and poor. I remember starting work with RM700 and I have so much money to use (those were the day), then at one point in life, I earn more than the average tom dick and harry, and yet I have negative saving and not enough to use. Luckily ever since I meet SL, I become frugal and now somehow I have no desire to buy anything at all. In a way, I think it's good, but in a way, it's bad too. At times, I was thinking what the hell is wrong with me, am I suppose to leave everything for the children like my parent or her parent generation? What happen if the children are really useless bum?

Well, talking about that, I think I better stop here and start visiting my friends with kids. Mani already have 3 kids, and I think he will only be free for anything when his kids grow up. That's the lifecycle. I wonder what will happen if I tell SL that we don't want to have any kids at all, maybe we can adopt .... hahahahah.

The fierce Mr Don! .... more stuff to blog later. Now the connection is dirt slow!

... continue from previous pause ... Mr Don's life is simple. At this hour, at about 3am, he is still awake. I think he need to go shit, that's why he keep coming up to me and scratch my leg. My response to Mr Don is "Go shit anywhere you want, and stop disturbing me!" .... and then he go off. If he is still persistent in disturbing me, I will usually take out my blue color ruler, and he know the sign. The blue ruler means get off or else I whack you sign.

You never know what a dog really want in life. Before I continue, I just turn my head around, and I saw Mr Don took one of his toy and off he play by himself.

Dog's life is real simple. Sleep, wake-up, shit, pee, play, want to go out for car ride, bark, disturb everyone in the house, eat and finally go back to sleep or hibernating. But I know Mr Don quite well in certain way, I manage to teach him new words like "Down", "Bang-bang" and soon the word "Roll". Whenever Mr Don need to take something from his cage, he will come and ask me to do it. But if he can get it himself, he will do it all by himself. At times, he almost destroy the whole cage, just to take one of his favorite bear. Mr Don is also a very jealous companion. Whenever Ah Su come and hug me, he will come and attack Ah Su. For a brain as small as Mr Don, I think he is rather smart as well. I used to play plenty of tricks on him, such as tricking him run upstair and then rush all the way down.

To be explain this in more details. Mr Don is a dog stuck in a house (which is like a jail to him). Whenever someone want to go out (such as me), he will rush to the door, hoping that I or we will bring him out for a car ride. There are times when I pretend that I want to go out, and start playing prank such as pressing the car alarm, and Mr Don will follow me and run like a mad dog. But these days, if he is upstair, he will poke his head out from the staircase, and look down to see whether I'm really going out or just playing prank. Another good example of his smart behavior is asking him to "sit", "hand", "down", etc. If Mr Don know that there's no treat or chocolate, he will just skip everything, do the "down" position and then turn his body away from you, looking at the opposite direction. But with chocolate, even before you say the word "sit" ... he already sit, take his hand out for you, and then lay down to the floor.

Well, that's Mr Don!

Fly Me To The Moon!

Sunday, December 03, 2006

I realise I didn't blog for quite a while, all this work is killing me! It's so bad till I don't remember posting the video below. Looking at the style of writing, it's really weird I wrote it in such way. I thought Ah Su is the one posting it. But I don't think so la ...

I was reading Desmond's blog when I realise what he said about life is quite true. Life is quite routine and after a bad day, you go back, sleep, then wake up, it's another day. Or maybe it's a good day, you go back sleep, then you wake up, it's another day. The weekend also gone with a glimpse. I thought of going to Jazz festival, in fact Ah Su was talking about it weeks ago, but I guess either we are too lazy or too busy. Jeremy's birthday also gone ... but I guess I can only celebrate with him later as he was too busy for some of his friend's marriage. In fact, I was hoping that Siokster would come here, then we may go off to Pulau Payar, but alas she is also too lazy to drive here. I think she is opting for Singapore instead, so I guess my only option now is faster finish my work here, then go back KL find Jeremy so that we can party all night long! Nothing is better than a friday's night of partying and drinking all night long. Imagine, having a puff of cigarette while sipping your favorite liquer, while some sexy blokes walk past you, starring at you ;)

Dreaming again .... just like that stupid blue cockoo bird .... (flying off to the moon). Posted by Picasa

Gold Ingot

Friday, November 24, 2006

Gold? I was doing spring cleaning on my soho when I realise I actually have quite a number of these gold ingot in my soho. This one was given by Ah Su. It's not a real gold (if you see properly). A real one would be way too expensive to be simply put in the soho.

Bagan Lalang

Tuesday, November 07, 2006

Took some photos when I was at Bagan Lalang last week. Looking at the photo, I realise I still look young but Ah Su is looking old now compare to last time when I first meet her.

There's nothing much at Bagan Lalang which is located somewhere in Sepang. This used to be a private beach long time ago (Mani told me long time ago before he was married, now he got 2 kids and is expecting his 3rd). So much things has change since then. Even Jeremy has a girlfriend now and my cousin, Sean no longer look thin now.

But I still look the same! I guess baby never get old. Looking at the photo again, my girlfriend, Ah Su change alot. Now she want to build an empire where else brainy like me want to have an easy life. If you don't see me blog as often, that's because I need to build "Rome". Perhaps the next time you see my photos, it will not be a baby anymore but an old frustrated person.

p/s : Building an empire is no easy task ... alot of sacrifices and sweats. Posted by Picasa

Area 88

Friday, November 03, 2006

After watching Macross Zero, I have not really watch any good anime. The last 2 recommended by Jeremy was not really good such as Full Metal Panic and that anime about some online game, Dot Hack or something like that.

Then one day, I decided to pick up one anime from the store, and it's Area 88. Area 88 is not your typical kid's anime. It's quite deep and alot of emotion in it. Alot better than Macross. Macross Zero is not that good if you ask me, I would still prefer the original version of Robotech or another one called Macross Plus.

For your info, I have not been watching Hentai since 10 years ago. I'm not really a fan of hentai. The last hentai I watch if I'm correct should be that horny rabbit or rat called Hamtaro, I think. Or perhaps it's La Blue Girl or Legend of **something** ... I don't remember that name anymore. I know my friend, Calvin still watch alot of hentai and porn. The only thing abnormal is when someone who watch porn or hentai, keep saying "yeee ... yeeeee ... yyeeeeee" ... feeling disgust about those action in the TV, and yet the eyes still stared at the TV non-stop. Posted by Picasa
